  Just had a notice that my account will be ducted a new subscription fee that I have not agreed to after my so called free trial. The trial was almost 12mth ago. I have repeatedly refused there request after the free trial period.
  So pissed off, will never use them ever again. I would suggest that everyone check and get legal advise. ASAP

  Customer care have no knowledge of AVG products so are completely useless, many of them can't even speak English, and there is no NZ phone line meaning to actually speak with a Human being requires the cost of an international phone call and we still got nowhere!!! Stay away from AVG!!!

  I have never had a problem with AVG and would recommend them to my friends until now.
  I recently updated my AVG Ultimate on line from a email link with a few days to go till it expired and just after I paid received a pop up saying if I paid within the next 8 minutes I would receive a big discount. I felt this was a bit un fair and deceiving so I contacted customer support. My inquiry was could I have this discount implemented to my account that I just purchased for $130.
  Well the discount I missed out on is a very minor issue compared to the disgusting people I have dealt with on customer support. These people were so rude ! I went through 4 of them and they just could not wait to get me off the phone were very arrogant ,patronising and one raised his voice to me.. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they just flat out refused to do so ,gave fake names and just could not understand English repeating what do you want all the time.
  All were Indian and I think AVG should be concerned about what this will be doing to their reputation as I am going to cancel my product license and try another. I'm very patient and understanding and this episode has forced me to warn others.
  I have also searched for a number in Australia to contact AVG only to find its continuously busy or off the hook. Oh I wonder why ???

  Never ever deal with AVG - they automate invoices that are not authorized and then have the audacity to charge it to Paypal. Before you know it the money is drawn.
  This is the second time - last was three years ago.
